About Us

Hi, we are the Anjums. 

We are from Bangladesh. We are a couple who loves traveling to offbeat destinations. By profession we are software engineers. One of our favorite activities together is to plan adventurous trips. Mountains are our favorite destinations.

We try to plan and arrange everything by ourselves - that is to say, we are our own travel agents. We have come to enjoy the tedious bits of travel - which is to arrange visa, permit, book cheap flights, find spectacular stays that cost reasonable price.


We have explored some beautiful destinations in South Asia. We have been to the Himalayas a few times - Himachal, Kashmir (in India) and Nepal. And the 'Sri' of Sri Lanka amazed us. We have been lucky to make such journeys - each destination unique and offer some kind of offbeat experiences.
Trekking is a favorite activity of us. We trekked to the offbeat Hampta valley in Manali, to the Baisaran valley in Kashmir. And we were awed by nature and humbled by the mountainous terrain of the Himalayas during our Annapurna Base Camp trek.

As Bangladeshi tourists, with Bangladeshi passports, traveling needs to be planned and structural. Sometimes we run into information gaps about specific detail of a trip. Once we ran into an edge case while booking our Sri Lanka train tickets. About ABC trek, we had so many worries about permit, about trekking gears. Some gaps we overcame with the help of knowledge posted in the internet, other things we had to learn by first hand experience.

We document our journey so that the next travelers from Bangladesh feel the confidence to step onto a route less touched by other Bangladeshis. We want to inspire you to follow your heart. And to travel prepared, travel responsibly!

How to Book a Sri Lanka Train Ticket

Train rides in Sri Lanka are festive, adventurous, and hyped for a reason. The railways tracks run over mountains, through tunnels, parallel to the Indian ocean and often through the clouds! From your seat, you explore the tea plantations, pine trees, white stupa towering distant villages on top of mountains, and locals smiling and waving at you. What to see in Sri Lanka

In the second week of February, 2026 we travelled for 9 days in Sri Lanka, from Bangladesh. Sri Lanka felt like a soothing paradise to me. Sky blue, mountains green, ocean blue.
